This workshop will bring together the next generation of CEE academic leaders for two days of scientific interactions and career-oriented discussions.   It will feature research presentations by the participants, panels on issues relevant to academic careers, and opportunities for informal networking with faculty members at MIT.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria: Applicants must be approximately within one year of graduating with their PhD or have obtained their PhD no earlier than 2025.   Preference is given to applicants who have not secured a faculty position.   Women who are currently graduate students or postdocs at MIT are not eligible.

Applications are due June 5, 2026. The 2026 Rising Stars Workshop will be held at MIT on October 22-23, 2026.
